Drum Teacher Information
Parthav started playing drums in 2016 and has loved it from the very first day. During his extensive
training, Parthav developed the routine of listening to new genres of music and spends at least 10
minutes of his regular practice session on rudiments. He excelled in Trinity College (London, UK)
examinations in Western Classical and Rock & Pop (Grade 3). He has conducted workshops for music schools and has participated in festivals and competitions including Spotlight, XITIJ Youth Festival and Illuminati. Parthav has taught drums for several years with students ranging in ages from from 4 to 57. He’s able to prepare students for theory exams, practical exams and band gigs. He personalizes his lessons to each individual students, arranges fun competitions among his students, and encourages them to listen to all kinds of different music. Parthav has great appreciation and respect for all drummers, his favourites are Buddy Rich and Dave Grohl.
