As an immigrant from India, moving to a country that does not speak your language is a situation I am extremely familiar with. Music is a universal language, and one should not have to take a Duolingo lesson to learn music! Being a native Hindi speaker, I can teach those who want to learn Bollywood songs, receive beginner Western or Hindustani classical training, or simply want to sing in Hindi.

I have moved around my whole life, so being nervous or scared to be in new environments has been a constant experience for me. However, having someone that can connect with you through similar experiences, traditions, and languages was what helped me settle and navigate my life easier. My identity is an important part of who I am, and I understand the importance of representation. What better way to spread knowledge of and appreciation for my culture if not through music?

With extensive experience in Western Classical, Bollywood, and Pop music, she tailors her lessons to each student's strengths and interests.
